What can be done in 16 seconds and ninja turtles

I have a confession to make. I am a barefoot cobbler, a naked tailor and a passionate speedcuber’s wife who can’t solve Rubik’s cube 😁

I mean, I tried, I even solved it several times by tutorial. But it’s so time consuming for me, and I’d always rather go painting or read something instead πŸ˜‚

So I didn’t develop that special skill that allows to solve it anytime. And with the speed you could hardly imagine! Watch the video below for Rubik’s cube world’s record by Feliks Zemdegs.

So, my hubby is loving that, and that is our main reason to travel, because it’s easier to go somewhere on a reason like European World Cube Association competition, isn’t it? 😁

He also organized several competitions in our city, and in our country. Which brings me to the topic of my today’s babbleπŸ‘Œ

It’s been fourth year in a row I’ve painted a picture for their event. The pictures are based on ninja turtles characters as they had those funny masks and when you solve blindfolded, you definitely need a mask on your eyes.

Pretty cool, isn’t it? And no, the video wasn’t speed up, everything happens in real time. Can you imagine how much training lays behind these several seconds of success? The persistence these guys have really amazes me!

So, here are the ninjas.

The latest picture I drew on my new tablet and we compiled it with the emblem of the upcoming event.

Anyone wants to try himself in speed cubing competition? The list is on World Cubes Association website.

Can you solve the cube? What are your best results? Tell me in comments πŸ˜‰

Hope you enjoyed reading this 😊 Give me three if you did! πŸ––

When I was a kid, I was obsessed with Rubik’s cubes. I had several in different sizes (even a tiny one that actually worked)…then once I solved it, I instantly lost interest. I was never very fast though…my best time was maybe 2-3 minutes LOL I guess it’s the way my brain works though, once I understand how something works, I lose interest and never get good at anything…

I remember in childhood we had a cube with stickers on it, we used to cheat and finally mixed them so the cube couldn’t be solved anymore πŸ˜‚

Ahem… I never resolved it ^^’ I had one, it probably is somewhere lying around but I never managed. Back then there was no internet, so no helpful tutorial, and I think it was just not interesting enough for me to ponder on. Like you, I’d rather spend time painting or sculpting food for my dolls.
